On December 17th, 2007, Mike Endres received his "Doing Business As" license for blueVortex.net and a company was born. But, the story begins long before that day...
In 2001, Mike worked on his first ever Website. It was for the Grand Rapids Paranormal Alliance (a group of ghost hunters from West Michigan). The Website went through several designs over the course of 5 years. The Home Page was even featured on the front cover of the Your Life section of the Grand Rapids Press on October 31st, 2005 - in full color. Mike was hooked.
One day, Mike noticed an ad for a Web Designer position at WKTV studios where he had interned in high school. Not expecting to get the position, he went in for an interview. It was at this interview Mike met webmaster Rob Worth. Mike got the job and Rob Worth became his mentor. Mike's earliest clients (from before blueVortex.net was founded) include WKTV, Kent County Black Elected Officials, DMarshco, and the Catholic Forum.
Mike worked part time at Studio 28 while managing a few Websites on the side. He was also earning a communications degree from Grand Valley State University and gratuated from GVSU in 2004. After officially starting blueVortex.net in 2007, he watched his client base grow and grow until working at the movie theatre became too much. In 2012, after 13 years with Loeks Theatres, Mike resigned and began working full time designing and maintaining Websites.

The Steps
Meet and Look at Needs
First, we will set-up a meeting to discuss your needs. After the meeting, blueVortex.net will make a bid for the site based on the expected work load. Once a flat rate is agreed upon, that is all you pay each month, no matter how many updates are needed. No need to worry about how any little request will affect your budget.
Your World Online
We build your Website. This process may take up to 2 months. We will also sign a contract for one year at a time. If at the end of the year you decide not to go with blueVortex.net, the domain will be turned over to a host of your choosing, all graphics and work included. Otherwise, the contract automatically renews each year.
Teamwork
After building your Website, blueVortex.net does not dissapear. We are there for you to keep your content updated.
